Back from Europe.
By Titus | March 19, 2007
Well I have finally caught up on all the back logged emails and work and am able to post my first blog post on this new blog design.
Natalie and I had a lot of fun. We visited France (Paris, Nice), Monaco (Monte Carlo), Switzerland (Geneva, Gstaad, Lucerne, Basel), Italy (Rome, Pompeii, Sorrento, Amalfi Coast, Tuscany, Florence, Cinque Terra, Pisa, Milan, Verona, Venice) and Greece (Athens, Nafplio).
As you can probably imagine we visited a lot of places over the 23 days we were gone! It was an amazing 1 year wedding anniversary and once I can find an easy-to-use, no-limit on MB, hosted solution for photos I will post them (any suggestions would be great).
We ate a lot of good food, visited a lot of great places and had an amazing adventure. My favorite part was probably (apart from spending time with Natalie) the Nafplio, Greece area where we relaxed on the coast in an amazing, small, fishing town and snacked on grape leaves and saginaki (awesome cheese, my favorite).
We stayed in some nice, simple hotels and most of the time the weather was amazing, except for the occasional rain and cloudiness which was ok with us. Our most unique hotel was staying in a real igloo on the top of the Alps in Gstaad, Switzerland. It was freezing but fun and we had some amazing fondue.
I will try to post more as soon as I can…
